MATHS WEEK LONDON IS BACK!

Maths Week London is returning this June and we are getting very excited! This year Maths Week London will run from 26th to 30th June 2023 and we are thrilled to be a Silver Partner for the second year running.

Maths Week London’s mission is to ignite a love of maths in children across the capital. Numeracy is a vital skill and we believe it can and should be enjoyable, relatable and accessible.

This year, our aim is to highlight why maths is important to engage with from a young age to help develop practical skills. We want to show how making maths relevant can also make it fun and how it can enable success in all areas of everyday life.

Maths Week London aims to:

  • boost confidence in mathematics and encourage a positive attitude
  • demonstrate the value of maths as a lifelong skill by linking it to the wider world
  • encourage all young people and adults to develop their maths skills and become confident mathematicians not just at school but in everyday life.

We are delighted to be supporting Maths Week London, taking place 26th – 30th June 2023.

AND FOR NUMBOTS...

We are offering an addition AND subitising resource!

Practise subitising single digit numbers within 6 and 12 using our two-player Gumball printables! The aim is to colour in more gumballs than your opponent!

Once you’ve signed up and printed off the resource, you’re ready to go! Instructions are included in the pack. To access Gumball Subitising and Gumball Addition, please sign up to Maths Week London below (it’s completely free!).

We are also offering Greater London teachers a chance to sign up to a free webinar where the NumBots team will show you around the NumBots Scrapheap and give you the chance to ‘Look Inside’ the platform.
